In addition to supporting simple tasks such as sending files from machine A to B, NetSupport Manager goes one step further by offering one-to-many file distribution; the ability to transfer a file from one PC to any number of selected computers in a single action – for example, ensuring staff across the company can receive important documents simultaneously.

Complementary tools also allow remote hands-on access, including the ability to remotely power on and off a computer and remotely log in to a PC, as well as a powerful scripting and scheduling suite to enable routine tasks to be automated and run at pre-defined intervals.

A free unique Gateway is provided as standard to allow systems across the internet to connect securely and communicate without the need to use a third party-hosted solution. In addition, remaining 100% ‘on premise’ allows you to have complete control over the Gateway, which can also be hosted in a cloud.

NetSupport Manager uses four levels of encryption (56-bit, 64-bit, 128-bit, 256-bit AES) so you can find the necessary balance between security and performance. We have also added new Gateway encryption with SSL/TLS certificates for superior data security – while security strongholds such as gateways, security keys and operator passwords have been boosted with higher levels of encryption.

It also includes full two-factor authentication (2FA) to fortify security at the point of connection and guard against any attempted access by unauthorised users, and supports RADIUS authentication.

Plus, features such as activity logs, user acknowledgements, smartcard support, AD integration and more – allow you to control who has access to what and when.

To support the protection of personal data, Client log files can be edited to only show selected information. For example, to protect personal data in customer databases, usernames may need to be hidden from the view of those who support them.
